YOU CAN!
OUR MISSION
Providing a Safe Environment to continue the journey of sobriety
Realize U 252.
Where compassion meets COMMITMENT
Since 2018, a group of passionate citizens have worked tirelessly to build an organization that will help those battling addiction. Our research shows that too often, 30- to 90-day treatment programs are not effective without some follow-on support that provides a safe living environment and a community of peers that support recovery. With that in mind, we have developed and operate a Sober Living Environment that addresses these unmet needs and provides the comprehensive support necessary for successful long-term recovery.
As an established Recovery Residence, Realize U 252 equips individuals and families realize a new beginning after addiction. This is accomplished by focusing on spiritual development, vocational education, transitional housing, along with continuing aftercare. Upon graduation, the alumnus will become a contributing, successful and supported member of the community.
Realize U 252 is seeking funds of up to $10,000 to supplement the program fee for residents by way of partial scholarship for those who are accepted into the Realize U 252 residence. The funding received last year was instrumental in helping seven men get into the program by reducing the financial barrier to entry which made such follow-on care possible.
The funding required to run RU252 comes from multiple sources. RU252 generates the majority of the revenue from Resident Program Fees. Additional revenue is generated with donations and periodic community fundraising events.
WHO WE ARE
Meet the Team
FROM CONCEPT TO REALITY
It all began in early 2018 when a call to action from community leaders were inspired to help ease the opioid crises by providing a long term treatment program. After much prayer and a lot of help from craven county our model grew into what it is today. Our goal remains the same in helping provide a safe environment for those who are on the road to recovery from substance use disorder.
